Idioma is a basic command-line application for studying foreign languages. There are nicer programs out there with graphical user interfaces but I found myself in a foreign country with no internet connection to download an existing tool and a pressing need to learn a lot of vocabulary and grammar as quickly and efficiently as possible. Thus, Idioma was born: quick and to-the-point, built strictly for getting the job done. In the end, though, it has ended up quite flexible.

Please read the included documentation for more information.

Contributions are welcome! Translations of the program to other languages are especially needed, since the program should be useful for everyone and not just native English speakers. Development takes place using Fossil. You can clone it using:

    $ mkdir -p idioma/trunk
    $ fossil clone idioma.fossil
    $ cd idioma/trunk && fossil open ../../idioma.fossil

See the Fossil documentation for more information.
